Pat Piper is an ad prodigy. At the age of three, he wrote his first direct mail piece with a bounce back coupon. At six, he completed his first tri-fold brochure for a local bank. From there it was POP, annual reports and ads. At twelve, he successfully wrote and directed his own commercial. Pat began his adult advertising career in Omaha, Nebraska, as a writer for a couple of advertising agencies. But, he had his eyes on the bright lights and the wide-open spaces of Kansas City. Over the past 11 years, Pat has written ads for everything from banks to burgers. He is currently VP, creative director at Barkley.

For his presentation, Pat will share the story of how two guys brainstormed a crazy idea, shot some home video and presented it to Sonic. To their utter surprise and amazement, Sonic loved the concept and developed an entire campaign around it! Pat’s lively presentation will discuss the Sonic 2 Guys campaign, where it’s been, where it is and where it’s going.
