AAF Oklahoma City Ad Club awards three (3) $2,000 awards to undergraduate or graduate students based on application, supporting materials and interview quality.

Scholarship application opens in October each year.

Scholarships are for students engaged in a communications related study track attending any institute of higher learning in the state of Oklahoma and maintaining a minimum GPA of 2.75 with at least 60 hours credit.

Work samples:
You are required to submit work samples based on your course of study or strength, e.g. designers should provide design samples, public relations majors should provide PR related materials, advertising majors should provide graphics, media plans, marketing plans, etc.
Your work samples, regardless of content, should be provided in one PDF. We strongly recommend organizing your work samples in a way that makes them easy to understand and navigate. An organized presentation will most definitely be given stronger consideration than sloppily assembled files with no structure or flow.

Six finalists for the three (3) $2,000 JAC awards will be selected by the committee and interviewed on Friday, November 4, 2011.

Applications will be reviewed by the AAF Oklahoma City Ad Club JAC Committee. Candidates deemed by the Committee to possess the traits, communication skills and intellect best representing the highest standards of industry professionalism and ethics will earn the JAC Award.
Awardees will be presented with their awards at our annual Career Day in November.
Payment will be in the form of a $2,000 check made payable to each winner.
