Qualifications & Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or related field. Demonstrated experience in communications, including, but not limited to social media, video, web, writing, editing and content creation. Commitment to excellence in service while working with students, academic advisors, faculty, and administrators in the US and abroad. Strong professional communication skills (spoken, written, and presentational). Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks and responsibilities. Ability to work well with all constituencies of the college community and the general public. Successful marketing design and marketing planning experience. Successful event and program planning experience. Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Strategic Communication, Journalism, Marketing or International Related field and two years of related experience.

Additional Job Details

This position will work with the Dean to develop and revise overall communications plan, including developing content for web site, social media. Oversee the School of Global Studies and Partnerships (SGSP) social media strategy. Participate in Global OKState communications council. Develop content for internationally focused news items for SGSP and other campus units, as relevant. Oversee logistics and planning for SGSP events, including speakers series, seminars and programs. Assist in developing content for SGSP recruiting and marketing efforts. Assist OSU departments with outreach activities related to the SGSP mission. Other duties as assigned.
