Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Graphic Design Duties: • Create graphics for marketing materials including but not limited to billboards, print materials, in-house documents, social media, website, videos, promotional items. • Know the product and services of Home Creations. • Design and update creative media (including creative writing) for print, digital and social media for the purpose of promoting the product and services of Home Creations. • Work closely with marketing manager to incorporate graphics with branding elements for print and electronic media. • Maintain accuracy of any creative media related to the product and services of Home Creations for online and print (eg. Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, blogging, email blasts, etc.) • Work closely with marketing manager to develop campaigns. Social Media Duties: • Conduct research (online and onsite) about subject for content generation. • Understand the target audiences and the intended message. • Manage and post regularly on multiple social media accounts, including but not limited to twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and report results to the team. • Maintain accuracy of creative media content for any print and electronic media including but not limited to flyers, postcards, brochures, emails, website, social media, static and electronic billboard, etc. • Develop promotion/social media calendar for promotional purposes. General Duties • Attend marketing and sales meeting. • Attend meetings with external service providers as needed (eg. media services, marketing sales reps, etc.).¬ • Maintain digital archive of marketing-related files. • Assist in coordinating logistics and manpower needed for marketing events including but not limited to bridal shows, broker’s opens, community events, etc. • Setup and takedown for events listed above. • Provide written content needed for printed and electronic media used to promote the events. Minimum Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (graphic design, advertising, communications, etc.). • At least 1 year of experience (may include internships) in related fields. Knowledge, Skills, and Ability: • Strong graphic design skills is a must. • Experience with managing multiple social media accounts. • Working knowledge of a variety of computer applications is a must (eg. Adobe Creative Cloud, Social Media and Microsoft Office applications). • A portfolio of relevant work that demonstrates strategic thinking, an engaging style and a great command of graphic design principles (flow, sentence structure, grammar and punctuation). • Experience with writing and copy-editing is a plus. • Knowledge of general office practices. • Ability to represent the company in different occasions. • Ability to establish priorities and meet deadlines. • Ability to edit video is a plus. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to interact with variety of personalities and work within a team environment. • Attention to detail in composing, typing, and proofing materials. • Strong organizational skills, self-motivated individual. • Willingness to be a member of a dedicated team and work well with others. Work Environment: Office environment. The noise level is moderately quiet. Physical Demands: Employee may be required to participate in events that require standing, walking, and help carry items for events. Must be able to carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
