Account Lead (Full-Time) Position Description: An Account Lead is the primary point of contact for Freestyle's clients. This individual leads strategy for his/her clients, manages client campaigns, builds relationships with clients, and oversees coordination of any marketing, creative or public relations needs. We are seeking a positive, talented, adaptable, highly-motivated and creative individual with a strong work ethic. Responsibilities: • Serving as the primary point of contact for assigned Freestyle clients • Spearheading clients’ comprehensive marketing strategies • Maintaining positive relationships with Freestyle clients in regards to the creative direction of their campaign • Ensuring all work is completed according to strategy, on time and within budget • Managing client expectations on timelines, processes and results throughout a project or campaign • Fostering collaboration among account services, creative and digital team members to ensure everyone is set up for success • Coordinating PR initiatives • Writing content for clients' social media, blogs, news releases, websites and newsletters as needed • Tracking analytics and conversions from Freestyle marketing campaigns as needed • Quality-controlling and reporting for clients' social media and digital marketing campaigns • Assists in preparing client invoices, proposals, marketing/media/public relations planning Requirements: • A bachelor's degree in public relations, communications, marketing, advertising or related field • Professional industry experience in public relations, communications, marketing, advertising or related field • Proficient in all Microsoft Office and/or Mac-equivalent systems • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) • Ability to manage a project from start to finish and meet deadlines • A desire to work in a creative, collaborative environment • Driven, self-starting, initiative-seizing attitude • Core values: Hustle, Evolve, Autonomy, Respect and Team Preferred skills and competencies: • Prior agency experience • Experience implementing strategies for both B2B and B2C clients • Strong creative writing skills and up-to-date knowledge of AP style • Excellent attention to accuracy and detail • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to anticipate potential challenges • Excellent organizational and time-management skills • Confidence leading meetings and presenting to groups of people • Experience working with Google Analytics, Google AdWords and Facebook Business Manager • Understanding of digital communication strategies • Comfort with basic social media strategies and best practices • Proficiency in data analytics and social media tracking • Experience in Adobe Creative Suite (particularly InDesign) Reports to: • Day-to-day: Director of Account Services • Overall: President
Additional Job Details
