We are seeking a VP of Marketing and Communications that exhibits leadership for our team the community and our sport. The Vice President, Marketing and Communications is an executive level position and will manage a team that will be responsible for the outward presentation of the company’s brand. This position will lead the planning and oversight of OKC Energy FC’s marketing, advertising, communications, and community relations efforts. Responsibilities include the strategy, development and execution of end-to-end marketing programs, event participation, communications, community engagement, and advertising strategy that all drive brand awareness, fan development and support event revenue generation. This position will develop, shape and disseminate the market messages to a variety of audiences using various approaches and will work with other senior management team members to organize communications to a wide range of stakeholders. The main goal of this position is to represent the brand outwardly while growing the company’s market exposure and its following. Additionally, the position will support revenue-generating departments via creation and coordination of best in class promotional activities as well as grassroots marketing opportunities to increase brand exposure in the region. It will also look to address target markets through promotions, grassroots events and other marketing vehicles by leveraging Ticket Sales, Sponsorship, Community Relations and Youth Marketing initiatives within the company to cultivate and grow its audience. Major Responsibilities: -Deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution -Lead communications efforts -Oversee and drive social media enterprise -Coordinate with creative team to produce all media needs -Lead creative and strategic advertising plans -Develop departmental strategies and lead team of people -Demonstrate proactive leadership and strategic thinking -Manage email marketing campaigns, including promotional emails, presales, performance analytics -Work closely with Sales, Sponsorship, Operations, Box Office, Creative, Food & Beverage, and other departments on implementation of marketing campaigns -Lead Street Team that engages with the community and drive lead generation from the events the group participates in -Leverage CRM and digital platforms to target audiences and drive lead generation -Coordinate community activities and be able to tie them into company’s strategic initiatives -Other duties as assigned
