Public Service Advertising | Ad Club OKC

Each year the Oklahoma City Ad Club selects a worthy Central Oklahoma nonprofit organization to provide pro-bono communications and marketing assistance.

The annual campaign typically aims to solve a problem the nonprofit is trying to address. Services provided by the Ad Club over the years have included providing market research, integrated campaign development, branding, public relations initiatives, securing discounted or donated media space and public speaking and event planning, depending on the level of need the local nonprofit has and the resources the Ad Club can effectively provide.

Below are examples of previous pro-bono public service projects the Oklahoma City Advertising Club have produced.

Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits- Brand Refresh

The Oklahoma City Advertising Club worked with the Oklahoma Center for Nonprofits to fulfill their desire for a more modern and approachable appearance. The Public Service committee helped them update their brand with a new logo and brand standards.

The logo is a single weight design with some illustrative accents to reinforce the idea of "center," like the arrow hitting its target and the dot in the letter O. The arrow also doubles as a stalk of wheat for another strong visual tie to Oklahoma.

Positive Tomorrows Cork & Canvas Branding & Collateral

The Oklahoma City Ad Club worked with leadership at nonprofit Positive Tomorrows to brand and provide collateral material for the organizations annual Cork & Canvas fundraising event. Positive Tomorrows is a private school and social service agency focused on educating and caring for the needs of Oklahoma City's homeless children.

The Public Service committee worked together with Positive Tomorrows to develop all the branding, digital, social, traditional and out-of-house creative for this fun, festive and fabulous event.
